When SSA looks vision disturbances, the two most important things to study: visual acuity and visual field. Sometimes, the Social Security Administration looks at visual efficiency. If you suffer from an illness or injury that narrows your field of vision, can you have a disability. If you have a vision problem, you may help correct the problem, surgery to have. As for damage to hearing, you can lose your hearing or ability to distinguish speech. If your hearing is not restored or at least helped by a hearing aid, you may be entitled to disability coverage.
